it rained today..felt kinda ominous..as the car headed down to amk,i saw super dark clouds in the horizon..den,my own dark clouds came..$116 down the drain..and DON'T ask why..took about half an hour to calm down..

| this is exciting! it's another chapter in my life! i'm finally doing Year2 of my Degree! *haha* okay,that might not be everyone's idea of exciting but i'm already feeling the jitters after reading my Letter of Offer for Curtin!! gotta start planning which classes to grab..my program executive mentioned afew modules that wld be good to start off with so i'm definitely gna take those..and it's great that i can speed up the process of getting my Degree by taking MORE classes each semester! okay,sounds so kiasu..the typical Singaporean's syndrome..but this time,i'll risk it coz i think i really want to get it over and done with asap! let's put it this way - the faster i graduate with the damn paper,i'll be able to snag a job and start saving for my bigger plans! uh-huh uh-huh!
well,abit about today..was rudely awakened by the incessant ringing of my hp..damn the thing! juz can't help wishing i didn't own one sometimes! thing is,i forgot to switch it off last night (or rather, this morning) coz i only crawled home at 5am! *haha* yeah,ya heard me right - 5am! anywayz,it was dear ol' Edmund 'korkor' from work..there was a really bad mix up coz he thought i gave him next Sunday's shift! man,for a moment i thought i'd have to rush down and work til 6pm..thankfully,neither of us needed to do sthg stupid like that..coz in the end,they decided that it probably wasn't necessary for an extra staff..like *whew*
so i went out by myself in the afternoon..coz mom came back from Bintan and sent me straight to the beautician for a much needed facial..the stupid make-up has totally ruined my face! sometimes,i really wish i was back to my snow-white-fair state..like back in 2000 when i was a clueless j1..coz being fair meant that everyone loved ur skin..and it was easier to do the make-up..but of coz,being tan now also has its advantages..like looking great in my blue halter dress and my white outfits..man,the give-and-take situations are always so annoying!
yeah,one last update..i've got my first X'mas prez of the year..*haha* was totally unexpected coz Roy suddenly appeared yesterday at the shop and gave me a box of Dome cookies..ermm..needless to say..i felt quite uncomfy..coz gifts from guys are always..suspicious! yeah,that's the word! well anywayz,i juz muttered my thanks and that was it..looking forward to MORE prezzies,pple! and of coz,i'm already planning to spend a bomb on x''mas shopping (for myself :p) coz the sales everywhere are really looking good! control, gurl..control!! | | comments: 1 comment or Leave a comment |

| someone sprung a surprise today :) yupz..that's why i'm all smiles now..this 'thing' isn't so bad afterall,i guess..didn't expect see CH 2day..thought it was mom who called again but nopez,it turned out 2b CH saying he'd pick me up from PS..well, i'm happy but i've got abit of a headache thanks to the lot of smoke i took in this afternoon.. :p
today's class was pretty fun..we did Bridal Photography and my partner was El..she's 24 and she's married! now is that cool or what?! we started chatting as she did my make-up and i thought "hmmzz..i might juz follow in her footsteps!" she's one of the nicer girls in my class..the rest,as what me n Linda said;are pretty superficial and juz not the kind i'd be pals with..anywayz,i brought CH's digicam today so we went trigger happy clicking away! *haha* all the "brides" took a shot together and after everyone was gone, Linda n i started our own photography fun! really luv afew shots..

| man..i'm totally drained out..was SO darn busy at work today..ive concluded that S'poreans are really freakin' rich..the amount they're willing to spend on a cup of disgusting black coffee is really unbelievable~! we hit our sales target today thanks to these rich pple..which also means i was a slave to the coffee machine once again..
lemme think..yeah, i was practically rooted to the coffee machine spot..stood there waiting for expresso and only moved when i needed syrup shots or ice..man, that's crazy..mind was only filled with the words "latte", "steamed milk", "hot chocolate" and "cappaucino"..didn't even have time to think..
*whew*..at least it's over now..though i'm still thinking of taking a jog round and round the carpark later when i get home..
alright, i'll agree that it sounds ridiculous and that's a completely idiotic idea but strangely, i miss jogging!! *haha* like whoever thought i'd say that! ;p i think i've been feeling so restless and sluggish coz i havn't been exercising much this week..which is annoying for me! okay..if i really head out for a jog later, only 3 things can happen:

i'm in a really crummy mood tonight..
nothing interests or entertains me..
juz had my usual turkey-and-salmon meal with my dearez "lao gong" Eddie.. *haha* that's his new status coz of some really stupid joke that was started a few weeks ago..according to them, we got married on Wednesday night..really crappy but it keeps the laughter going when we work together :)
well..lemme see..what do i have to say?
oh yeah..i miss my cuzzie..a whole lot! was so so SO darn happy and excited when Steffie called from USA earlier this week..was like "huh?!" when i saw the word "Call" flashing on my Nokia..then started screaming incoherently in CH's car when i realised it was my cuzzie.. *haha* we talked for a good half an hour..til my battery was drained! miss ya, cuzzie!! ure like THE only person i miss so much!
hmmz..think my mood is slightly improving after remembering the excitment of an oversea call.. *haha* ;)

my dear Giraffe will be performing his first solo tmr! thankfully i'm not scheduled to work any shift so i'm definitely heading down to watch him!!
this is so exciting!
okok..we may fight all the time and dig out each other's guts but inside, of course i'm proud of my Giraffe! who'd ever think that the musical blood would only be in both of us in this family?!! haha..and of all things, he has to play the same instrument as me..

| okay, thanks to all that make-up, my face is ruined..kena breakout ah! *sobz* hate it..though make-up does wonders to my dark eye circles, it also does disaster to my skin..
so far, we've been doing bridal make-up..so all you gurls out there, u know who to look for next time on ur big day!! *hint hint* it's really interesting..i was model for eyebrows and eyelids today..was funny coz i was the only one with single eyelids!
and thanks to this course, i'm about $100 poorer than last week..coz we had to get some stuff by ourselves and it ain't cheap! those little bottles and containers i bought were cute but came with a price! *ugh* and those two stupid brushes for eyeshadow cost a small fortune..oh well..i guess it's all in the name of learning.. :)
